Application for admission to the school may be submitted for consideration at any time. There are several steps to the admission procedure.
Firstly we would invite you and your family to visit the school for a personal tour to see the facilities and taste the atmosphere of the school and for an interview/discussion
Following the initial visit students for possible entry into the senior school would complete assessment papers in English and Maths in the morning then spend the rest of the day with their peer group joining in activities and gaining an insight into the day to day life of the school.
The potential student would have a personal interview with the Headmistress and contact would be made with the student’s current school.

We would then decide whether to offer a place based on all the information available to the school.
Children wishing to be considered for the Prep Department would follow the above procedure together with an assessment of Literacy including reading ability as well as competency in maths. Children then spend an extended period of time with the class and class teacher.
The formal entrance exam for transfer and entry into the Senior School takes place in February. The day consists of a test in English, Mathematics and Verbal Reasoning. Each student’s application is supported by a report from each applicant’s primary school, a personal interview and a meeting with parents.
Offers of places are made within three weeks of the examination.
