Senior School

It's great to be a student at Bridgewater!  The work may be challenging but it's also fun and you'll always have someone to help you on your journey through Seniors."

Extra Curricular Activities

We pride ourselves on our extensive extra-curricular provision. There are many activities that take place outside the classroom such as sport, music, drama, various clubs and societies, language exchange visits and outdoor activity breaks.  These activities are usually held at lunchtime or after school, although there are also some occasional residential visits. Senior Department activities include Amnesty,  Art Club, Debating Society, Book Club, Cheerleading, Duke of Edinburgh's Awards Scheme,  Enterprise Club, Fencing, Latin and Speech Training.  Of course, the range and variety changes, from time to time, to encourage students to try new experiences and some activities are subject related but afford students a different perspective from the one gained in formal lessons, for example: Geography Club, Maths Clinic, ICT Workshop, Science Club and Spanish Language Lab.

Our extracurricular activity is a key part to developing children socially and we do everything we can to accommodate each individual, through a combination of educational and pastoral trips, clubs and societies, organised sport and music.
