Hello, and welcome to the PTA section of the Bridgewater School website.
Now that you’ve found us, I am sure you would like to know who we are and what we do for the school. The Parent/Teacher Association represents an integral working partnership between parents and teachers with the clear purpose of supporting the extracurricular needs of our school and its pupils.
Our first priority is to generate additional finances in order to purchase equipment or fund activities that fall outside the educational budgeting of the school. Our way of achieving this is to create a social aspect to school life, organising fun activities and family events in which children, their parents/guardians and extended families can all participate, throughout the school calendar.
In addition to this we also work in partnership with the school staff and governors to create a welcoming school environment which is inclusive for all pupils, parents/guardians and the wider community.
All parents/guardians and teaching staff are automatically members of the PTA and are welcome to attend the monthly meetings held in the Pink Room upstairs in the sports building at 7.30pm, throughout the year.
