The PTA committee are elected each year at the Annual General Meeting held in September. Our current committee members holding office during 2010/2011 are:

Chair: Gaynor Smith, who has two sons Matthew and Andrew. Matthew spent 12 years at Bridgewater and after successfully gaining 9 GCSE’s, is now following his passion for music and media. Andrew has moved over from Prep and is enjoying life in Year 7. She has been involved with the PTA since 1999, a regular in the Kitchen and dab hand at teas and coffees. Gaynor has previously held the position of Chair from 2005-2007, Member without Office 2008-2009 and returned to the position of Chair for 2009-2010 and 2010-2011.

Vice Chair: Michelle Houghton, has three daughters, Ella in Prep 3 and twins Samantha and Amy in Prep 6. She has been involved with the PTA since 2004. Her inbuilt Irish charm and just a touch of blarney is a priceless commodity for the PTA. She has previously held the position of Secretary 2005-2006, Vice Chair 2006-2007, Member without Office 2008/2009 and returned to the position of Vice Chair for 2009/2010 and 2010/2011. Michelle is also a school Governor.

Secretary: Mandy Lawrence, has one son Max in Prep 6. Mandy’s first elected role in the PTA was as Secretary 2009-2010. Mandy was re-elected as Secretary for 2010-2011.

Member without office: Melanie White has Jemima Prep 1 and Henry in Prep 3 . This is Melanie’s first elected role with the PTA.

Member without office: Pierina Kapur has one son Karran in Prep 3. Last year Pierina held the position of Treasurer and is this year’s Volunteer Co-ordinator. |

Treasurer: John Hinchliffe has one son James in Prep 2. John’s first elected role with the PTA was as Member without Office 2009-2010. He swapped roles and was elected to become Treasurer for 2010-2011.
